A motorcyclist is in serious condition after being hit by an intoxicated driver in Weatherford, TX.  The driver is accused of hitting the stopped motorcyclist and then driving away: all while attempting to deliver meth.

Alicia Anne Mitchell, of Fort Worth, TX, has been charged with numerous crimes to include: intoxication assault causing serious bodily injury or death, leaving the scene of a crash and manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

The injured biker, Jared Bandy, was stopped at a stop sign on College Park Drive when Mitchell struck him.  The force of the impact caused Bandy to flip over the car and onto the street.  He was taken to a Fort Worth hospital and was being treated for a serious head injury.

Mitchell was caught by Weatherford Police a few miles from the scene of the wreck.  When police apprehended Mitchell they became suspicious that she was under the influence of an illegal narcotic.  In addition, multiple bags of suspected methamphetamine were found in her possession.  At the time of this report she was being held at the Parker County Jail on a $40,000 bond.

The Colleyville motorcycle crash attorneys at the Hart Law Firm hope that Mr. Bandy is well on his way to making a full recovery.
