According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, a 3-year-old girl, Jaylyn Thomas, was tragically killed in a car crash when the vehicle she was a passenger in hit an Oncor (TXU) truck that had apparrently failed to yield right of way to the car. Our hearts and prayers go out to Jaylyn's family and loved ones. It is always tragic when a child is hurt or killed in an accident.

An Oncor spokeswoman said the company is working with authorities as they investigate the accident. Call me cynical, but my experience has shown me that corporate "working with authorities as they investigate the accident" means the corporation's loss prevention people are trying to hide and deny culpability or negligence as much as they can, and hindering whatever investigation the police are conducting.

In seeking justice when a child is killed in a car crash with a truck, experience counts. Often in times of grief families will call the first lawyer that has a television ad, and they will not research which attorney or lawyer is best qualified to handle their case. It is important to seek justice to make sure someone else is not killed or injured. It is imperitive that an experienced Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer is consulted immediately to make sure all the evidence is preserved, and not destroyed!
