Jonathan Sosa, 17, of Paradise, Texas was pronounced dead at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday after a fatal wreck in Fort Worth that occurred Monday night. Sosa was on of five people riding in a ford explorer that Fort Worth Police say was traveling at a very high rate of speed when the driver lost control, and the vehicle flipped several times on West Long Avenue.

Another occupant was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital in critical condition on Monday. Two of the other passengers were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, but was identified by the police officers investigating the accident. He is likely to face criminal charges.
