Unless police end up catching up with the man or woman responsible for stealing and crashing an 18-wheeler in Dallas County, TX we might never know their true motivation.

While police have been unable to find a suspect in the recent theft and crash, they do know that the crash caused major damage to the truck. The driver of the stolen semi took it on a joy ride on Northbound I-20. When the driver attempted to take the eastbound Highway 175 exit, they lost control of the large truck. The impact caused the semi to hit the center median, spill its load of steel rebar and burst into flames. Initially police and emergency workers were concerned that there was someone in the cab of the truck and that the person had lost their life in the fire. However, as they got the flames under control they found the cab empty, the driver having likely fled the scene shortly after the accident. The staff and attorneys at the Hart Law Firm were glad to read that there were no injuries reported in the crash. Given the possible inexperience of the driver and the impact of such a large truck, things could have ended very badly for the driver and other motorists.
