The Dallas police are searching for a woman who dragged an officer with her SUV as she drove off avoiding arrest on Tuesday, May 29.

The woman, whose identity has not been released at this point, was a customer at a Jack in the Bock restaurant at 18220 Dallas North Parkway in Dallas around 11p.m. Two Dallas Police Officers identified themselves and attempted to arrest the woman on an arrest warrant for tampering with government documents.

However, the woman ran out of the restaurant and jumped into her Range Rover while one of the officers attempted to stop her, but was caught on the side of the vehicle and dragged several feet. The woman drove straight at the second officer, who fired several shots at the SUV. Police are unaware if the woman was hit by any of the bullets.

Police found the Range Rover a couple of miles away on Rosemead Parkway, but the woman has not yet been caught.
